Zero Calorie Dijon Garlic Broccoli

I am always amazed when an amazing dish that is negative calories tastes so amazing. This is one of my all time favorite ways to eat broccoli. You can eat this all day long if you like because after digestion there is not a single calorie going into your body. Great for dieting. I eat it even when I am not worrying about calories. It is a great side dish to any main meal as well.

Zero Calorie Dijon Garlic Broccoli

3 Cloves garlic, Chopped
3 TBSP dijon mustard
1 TBSP water
2 cups chopped broccoli

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

In a saucepan add chopped garlic, dijon mustard, and water. Cook over medium low heat stirring constantly for 3 minutes. This is just to get the bite out of the garlic.

In a bowl, add your chopped broccoli. Pour the sauce over the broccoli.
Stir well.
Add to oven and cook for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. I like my brocolli al dente. If you like it mushy, then cook longer to your desired texture.

  2. Are you supposed to pre-cook the brocolli?

    1. no. You roast it in the last step as stated in the directions.

  4. Sorry, I didn't mean to ask the same question twice. I thought the first one didn't post. I like your blog, by the way.
